Bag check at every gate
Tokyo Dome inspects every bag at every entrance. Staff do a quick visual check (10-20 seconds). Have your bag open and ready. Nothing to worry about if you know the rules.
Allowed items
PET bottles (500ml or less, with cap). Bento boxes, onigiri, sandwiches, snacks. Portable chargers / power banks (any capacity). Smartphones and cameras (DSLR included). Binoculars. Blankets and seat cushions. Megaphones, towels, team merchandise. Water bottles and thermoses.
Prohibited items
Cans (beer, juice, anything in a can). Glass bottles. Outside alcohol. Tripods and selfie sticks. Long umbrellas (folding OK). Fireworks, laser pointers. Drones.
Gray areas
Frozen PET bottles: generally fine, but wrap in a towel to prevent dripping. Large food quantities: if it looks like personal consumption, it's fine. Laptop/tablet: allowed but be considerate of screen brightness.
Why cans are banned
Safety. A thrown can is dangerous. PET bottles are softer and less harmful. The rule exists at every NPB stadium, not just Tokyo Dome.
Pro tip
Buy a convenience store bento (Β₯400-600) and a PET bottle (Β₯150) on the way. Bring a portable charger. That covers food, drink, and phone power for the entire game at minimal cost. Buy beer inside from the seat vendors (Β₯800-900).
How to buy tickets
Giants tickets through official site or Klook (English, international cards). Have your e-ticket screenshot ready before joining the security line.
