The Fighters' home since 2023
The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters moved from Sapporo Dome to ES CON Field HOKKAIDO in 2023. The new ballpark is in Kitahiroshima, about 30 minutes from central Sapporo. It's part of F VILLAGE, a complex that includes restaurants, a brewery, a hotel with a hot spring, and outdoor adventure spaces.
Getting there
Shuttle bus from Shin-Sapporo Station (free on game days). JR Kitahiroshima Station, then walk or shuttle. From central Sapporo: about 30 minutes total. From New Chitose Airport: about 20 minutes by JR.
The ballpark
35,000 seats. Natural grass (rare for a covered stadium). Retractable walls that open to let in Hokkaido air. The combination of indoor comfort and outdoor freshness is unique in baseball.
Food
30+ restaurants. This isn't an exaggeration. Jingisukan (grilled lamb — the Hokkaido signature). Fresh seafood donburi (salmon roe, crab, uni). Sapporo miso ramen. Soup curry. The F VILLAGE BREWERY brews craft beer on-site — IPA, pale ale, pilsner. You can spend an entire game just eating and drinking without watching a single pitch.
Tower 11 hot spring
A hotel tower behind center field with an observation hot spring. Day-use bathing: ¥2,000-3,000. You can see the field from the bath (panoramic view, not close-up). The world's only hot spring with a view of professional baseball.
Tickets
Outfield: ¥1,500-2,500 ($10-17). Infield reserved: ¥3,500-6,000 ($23-40). Diamond Club: ¥10,000-20,000 ($65-130). The Fighters are a Klook partner team — English purchasing with international cards available.
