Tokyo Dome seating overview
Tokyo Dome seats about 46,000 fans in a climate-controlled dome. The seating is divided into infield reserved, outfield unreserved, backstop premium, and the famous Excite Seats. Each area offers a completely different experience.
Best for first-timers: Infield Reserved B
The sweet spot of value and view. Available on both the 1st base side (Giants fans) and 3rd base side (visitor fans). Prices range from ยฅ3,500-4,500. You can see the entire field clearly and enjoy the atmosphere without being in the intense cheering section.
For maximum excitement: Excite Seats
Front-row seats right along the field fence. You're so close you can hear players talking. Helmets and gloves are provided for foul ball protection. Prices are ยฅ8,000-12,000 but it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
For the cheering experience: Outfield unreserved
The cheapest option at ยฅ1,800-2,500. This is where the organized cheering happens โ every batter has a song, and thousands of fans sing in unison. Right field is Giants, left field is the visiting team. Arrive early for the best spots.
For a premium experience: Backstop seats
Directly behind home plate, you see the game from the catcher's perspective. Perfect for understanding pitch strategy and the chess match between pitcher and batter. Prices are ยฅ6,000-15,000. Ideal for couples or business entertainment.
Quick decision guide
First visit: Infield B (1st base). Want to cheer: Outfield. Special occasion: Excite Seats. With kids: Family seats (designated area in infield). Baseball purist: Backstop.
