The muffler towel

The most iconic Japanese sports souvenir. A long, thin towel (about 20cm x 110cm) that fans drape around their neck or wave during cheering. Every team sells them at every game for about ¥1,500-2,000. They're practical (wipe sweat, dry rain), collectible, and the perfect souvenir. Available in team shops and from vendors inside the stadium.

Gacha capsule toys

Gacha machines (capsule toy dispensers) at stadium entrances dispense random team-themed miniature figures, keychains, and pins for ¥300-500 per try. The randomness is part of the fun. Some items become collector's rarities. Look for limited-edition stadium-exclusive gacha.

Uniforms and jerseys

Official team uniforms range from ¥5,000-15,000. They're high-quality and make impressive gifts. Many teams offer name/number customization. Special edition jerseys (summer, regional, collaboration) are released throughout the season and become collector's items.

Mascot goods

Plush toys, keychains, stationery, and snacks featuring team mascots. Doala (Dragons), Tsubakurou (Swallows), and Harry Hawk (Hawks) merchandise is particularly popular. Stadium-exclusive designs are only available at home games.

Stadium-limited food souvenirs

Packaged cookies, cakes, and snacks in team-branded boxes. Perfect for bringing back to share with friends and family (a Japanese custom called "omiyage"). Usually ¥800-1,500 for a box. Available near stadium exits for last-minute purchases.

Capsule collections and pins

Enamel pins and trading cards are huge in Japanese sports culture. Stadium shops sell pin sets, trading cards, and collaborative merchandise with local businesses. Pin collecting is a serious hobby for Japanese fans.

Where to buy

Team shops inside stadiums have the widest selection. Online team stores ship internationally (but with higher shipping costs). Some merchandise is game-day exclusive — if you see something you like, buy it immediately.
