Yokohama BUNTAI opened in 2024 with a capacity of approximately 5,000 seats. It replaced the old Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium and is the home of the Yokohama B-Corsairs in B.League. The compact size means every seat has a clear, close view of the court.
Seating layout
Arena seats (courtside): closest to the action, ¥5,000-8,000 ($33-53). You can hear shoes squeaking on the floor. Stand seats (upper bowl): ¥3,000-5,000 ($20-33). Full court view with good sightlines throughout. No seat in a 5,000-capacity arena is truly "far" from the court.
Getting there
JR Kannai Station: 5-minute walk. Yokohama Municipal Subway Kannai: 3-minute walk. From Tokyo Station: JR Negishi Line, about 40 minutes. The arena is in the Kannai sports district — same neighborhood as Yokohama Stadium (baseball) and 5 minutes from Chinatown.
Combining with other attractions
Yokohama Chinatown: 5 min walk. Yokohama Stadium (BayStars): 3 min walk. Minato Mirai waterfront: 15 min walk. A B-Corsairs game fits into a full Yokohama day trip.
