Three ways to watch
NPB baseball accommodates every budget. You can have a complete game-day experience for $20, or you can splurge on premium seats and restaurant dining for $100+. Here are the real numbers.
Budget: ¥3,000-5,000 ($20-33)
Seat: Outfield unreserved ¥1,000-2,500 (Belluna Dome starts at ¥1,000 — the cheapest in NPB). Food: Convenience store bento brought from outside ¥500. Drink: PET bottle brought from outside ¥150. Transport: ¥500-1,000 round trip. One stadium beer: ¥800. Total: ¥3,000-5,000. You get the full experience — cheering section, stadium atmosphere, beer. Nothing is missing except luxury.
Standard: ¥6,500-10,000 ($43-65)
Seat: Infield reserved ¥3,500-5,000. Food: Stadium meal ¥800-1,200. Beers: Two at ¥1,600-1,800. Transport: ¥500-1,500. Total: ¥6,500-10,000. This is how most fans attend. Assigned seat with clear views, stadium food, a couple of beers. Comfortable and complete.
Premium: ¥13,000-25,000 ($85-165)
Seat: Premium lounge or Diamond Club ¥8,000-15,000. Dining: In-stadium restaurant ¥2,000-5,000. Merchandise: Team towel ¥1,500-2,500. Transport: ¥500-1,500. Total: ¥13,000-25,000. ES CON Field's restaurants and hot spring, or Tokyo Dome's premium lounge. This is the splurge version.
Cheapest stadiums
Belluna Dome (Lions): ¥1,000 outfield, cheap food. ZOZO Marine (Marines): ¥1,500 outfield. Kyocera Dome (Buffaloes): ¥1,500 outfield. These three are the budget kings of NPB.
How to buy tickets
