Maruzen Intec Arena Osaka
This 10,000-seat arena in Osaka's Minato ward hosts SV.League matches for two powerhouse teams: Suntory Sunbirds Osaka and Panasonic Panthers. It's one of Japan's largest volleyball venues.
Getting there
Osaka Metro Chuo Line to Asashiobashi Station — the arena is right at the station exit. From Namba, it's about 15 minutes; from Umeda, about 20 minutes. Incredibly convenient for tourists staying in central Osaka.
Osaka derby
When Suntory Sunbirds face Panasonic Panthers, it's the Osaka volleyball derby — one of the most exciting matches in the SV.League calendar. Both teams have long histories of success in Japanese volleyball.
