The stadium that takes food seriously
Kawasaki Frontale's Todoroki Stadium doesn't just have food stalls. It has a food culture. The club actively recruits Kawasaki's best restaurants to create match-day-exclusive menus. There's a reason it wins the J-League stadium food fan vote almost every year.
Permanent stalls
Yamada Udon at Gate 5: their Punch (stewed offal) is a legend. Order it as udon, soba, donburi, or just Punch by itself. The beer-and-Punch combo is what regulars order. Katsu Curry (Β₯1,000): win curry with a thick pork cutlet. Frontan-men (Β₯850): spicy sesame noodles. Genkotsu Karaage (Β₯400): fist-sized fried chicken.
Rotating stalls (Fron Park)
These change every match day. Past offerings include gourmet burgers with hand-formed patties, Thai gapao rice, Vietnamese pho, Indian naan curry, Turkish kebab, beef stew, and various fried chicken styles. Hire Katsu Sand (Β₯600) appears regularly. Player-selected bento boxes (Β₯1,100) sell out within the first hour.
Sweets
F Sweets sells a strawberry parfait (Β₯700) and Fron Glaize (Β₯300) β a pastry that's blue all the way through, matching Frontale's team color. More photo opportunity than fine dining, but fun.
Beer
Draft beer from major breweries. Occasional craft beer pop-ups from Kawasaki breweries. Tumbler discount available at some drink stalls (bring your own tumbler for a small price reduction).
Strategy
Arrive 90 minutes before kickoff. Walk the full perimeter first. Buy from the longest line first (it's popular for a reason and will sell out soonest). Main dish + snack + beer = Β₯2,000-3,000.
